During this summer’s E3 2018 and the recent Gamescom 2018, a gameplay demo for the latest game from The Witcher developer CD Projekt RED, Cyberpunk 2077, was shown to press behind closed doors.
We the public got a new cinematic trailer for the game recently after many years of patiently awaiting something new, but we were still waiting for that first peek at gameplay action. This week, CD Projekt RED gave us so much more than a first peek. Instead they went about as big as you can for the gameplay reveal, releasing a massive 48-minute walkthrough video. You can check it out below.
E3 week 2018 has officially kicked off, and during Microsoft’s briefing the long-awaited next trailer for the latest game from developer CD Projekt RED, titled Cyberpunk 2077, finally arrived.
The game was first announced six years ago already, but CD Projekt RED had to make a little game titled The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt before they could jump into this futuristic new world. But while the Witcher games were based on a book series written by author Andrzej Sapkowski, this new game is based on a pen and paper RPG by Mike Pondsmith titled Cyberpunk 2020.
The new trailer is just a cinematic but introduces us to the that futuristic world they’ve created, which is not exactly the friendliest or safest place for someone to be. Head below now to read more about Cyberpunk 2077 and check out the new trailer.
The stories of Geralt of Rivia, the White Wolf, from The Witcher are perhaps best known from developer CD Projekt RED’s video game series, which includes 2007’s The Witcher, 2011’s The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings, and 2015’s The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
But the games are actually based on Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski‘s short stories and novels, which are now set to be adapted into a new feature-length movie currently expected to be released in 2017. It’s been announced that Platige Films has joined forces with the Sean Daniel Company for the movie, which is being planned as the first in a series of movies.
A whopping 37-minute gameplay demo for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has been released online by developer CD Projekt RED.
The demo includes some of the stuff we saw come out of E3 2014, but this is a full and official release complete with developer commentary to inform you more about the game, its size, and the many things you can do while playing.
You can take in all 37 minutes of The Witcher 3 gameplay below.
Some new gameplay was shown off for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the upcoming title from developer CD Projekt RED, at E3 2014.
The first two videos below are two parts of a quest where Geralt of Rivia must find and kill a griffin, and then bring its head back as proof that the job is done. The third video is a second gameplay demo in which Geralt seeks the help of a creature-boy to find a woman.
