A lot has happened to the Red Hot Chili Peppers in the last 5 years. Since the release of their last album, 2006’s Stadium Arcadium, drummer Chad Smith joined Chickenfoot, bassist Flea went to school, singer Anthony Kiedis grew a moustache, and guitarist John Frusciante left due to “˜musical differences’ (why won’t bands just tell the truth and put out a statement that reads – to paraphrase Friends – “˜it’s just…we hate that guy’?). Come on — right now it doesn’t get much more super than that.

Chickenfoot released its eponymous debut album last summer to a hugely positive response helping the music and the band to get its beak into most rock award categories at the end of the year. And now, after an extensive tour of America and Europe, lead singer Sammy Hagar, bassist Michael Anthony, drummer Chad Smith, and guitarist Joe Satriani have released a concert DVD — Chickenfoot: Get Your Buzz On LIVE.
