First, it was Iron Fist. Then it was Luke Cage. Now, in a completely unsurprising move, Netflix has cancelled Daredevil. It was one of the streaming service’s flagship shows and the first to be released as a part of the Marvel and Netflix deal that was signed back in 2013. But the move comes after Disney ended their relationship with Netflix and announced they would be launching their own streaming service, Disney+. More on the report here below.
The NYCC 2018 panel for Daredevil season 3 – held at The Theater at Madison Square Garden in NYC – featured cast and crew alike. There to discuss the ongoing cinematic journey of Matt Murdock, Foggy Nelson, Karen Page, and Wilson Fisk were show stars Charlie Cox, Elden Henson, Deborah Ann Woll, Vincent D’Onofrio, Joanne Whalley, Wilson Bethel, and Jay Ali, as well as series showrunner Erik Oleson and Executive Producer and Marvel’s Head of Television Jeph Loeb. But before getting into the meat of the discussion, Loeb introduced the cast and then announced that Cox was married this past weekend – and his wife was sitting right behind me!
Check out the highlights from the Daredevil panel, along with new footage from Season 3 and details on its new villain, Bullseye, here below.
When we last left Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), his fellow Defenders believed he was buried under a pile of rubble. Little did they know that he was pulled out and being cared for. The last image of his lying on a bed being tended to by a nun was an image pulled straight from the comics. It also hinted at what to expect from Daredevil season 3.
While it has been a long wait, the time as come, and just a few weeks before its season 3 debut, Netflix has released a new trailer for Daredevil. And while the character seems fine, his greatest enemy the Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio) will declare war on him. Check it out below.

In the four years since the collaboration started, we’ve seen Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Iron Fist (Finn Jones) get their own series.
And while we’ve known that this moment was going to arrive, the evil force that will bring our heroes together still remains a mystery. But one new final trailer sheds some light on Alexandra’s (Sigourney Weaver) goals and what the Defenders must do to help protect the city. Check out the full trailer below.
