Just recently Entertainment Weekly gathered up the casts of some popular movies for their 2011 Cast Reunions issue, which included the cast of director Rob Reiner‘s 1987 timeless fantasy classic, The Princess Bride.

And being that it happens to be my own personal favorite movie of all time, I eat this stuff up. So when I saw that Good Morning America also jumped on the cast reunion for their Totally Awesome ’80s Week, giddiness levels elevated. Stars Cary Elwes (Westley/The Man in Black), Robin Wright (Princess Buttercup), Chris Sarandon (Prince Humperdinck), Wallace Shawn (Vizzini), Billy Crystal (Miracle Max), and Carol Kane (Valerie) were present to discuss the movie and tell stories from behind the scenes, including a very funny one involving the late Andre the Giant, who played Fezzik.

When it comes to action films, very few people do them as right and as interesting as actor Jason Statham. Be it the Transporter franchise or the pair of Crank films, there has always been something about the actor that has made him one of the most beloved names within the genre.

And now, we have the first poster for his next effort, Safe. Check it out in full here below.

The film comes to us from writer/director Boaz Yakin and follows a former elite operative, who is forced to keep a young girl safe from those who desperately want to see her demise. The cast includes Catherine Chan, Chris Sarandon, Robert John Burke, Reggie Lee, Danny Hoch, and James Hong, and looks to be something of an interesting bit of counter programming come its release on October 28, 2011.

DreamWorks is currently developing a remake of the 1985 horror film, Fright Night, and a pretty impressive cast has now been formed. Anton Yelchin (Star Trek, Terminator Salvation) was already a member of the cast, and now he is joined by Toni Collette (The Sixth Sense, The United States of Tara) and Colin Farrell (In Bruges, Miami Vice).

The movie follows a horror movie fanatic named Charlie who suspects that his new neighbor is actually a vampire. Obviously no one would possibly believe these suspicions, so Charlie has to go to the host of his favorite late-night horror TV show, Fright Night, Peter Vincent.
