At San Diego Comic-Con on Friday night, the Vikings crew sailed in and wowed everyone as expected. The panel consisted of Travis Fimmel (“Ragnar”), Katheryn Winnick (“Lagertha”), Clive Standen (“Rollo”), Alexander Ludwig (“Bjorn”), Gustaf Skarsgard (“Floki”) and Michael Hirst (writer/creator) – the dream panel, really. There a new trailer was unveiled, and it promises that the second half of Season 4 will be incredible. But do we expect anything else?
The History Channel’s Vikings just released a midseason trailer for this crazy season 4, and it is awesome!!! I cannot wait until it returns for another 10 episodes – the longest season to date. That is regular network length right there. This trailer teases some snapshots of Ragnar, Ivar, Floki, Rollo, Lagertha, Aslaug, Ecbert, and Bjorn (Travis Fimmel, Alex Høgh Andersen, Gustaf Skarsgard, Clive Standen, Katheryn Winnick, Alyssa Sutherland, Linus Roache, and Alexander Ludwig)

Last week on Vikings, Count Odo got what was coming to him via “50 shades,” death by whipping. Kwenthrith (Amy Bailey) was horrified when Ecbert (Linus Roache) said he was now king of Wessex and Mercia. When she expectedly went to kill him, Judith stabbed her instead. Aslaug (Alyssa Sutherland) flipped out on Harbard (guest Kevin Durand) because he sleeps with everyone. He does not want her to try to possess him. Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) is completely addicted to his medicine. When Yidu says there was no more medicine and threatened to expose his secret about the massacre of the viking settlement at Wessex, he drowned her in front of his sons. How far the mighty king has fallen!
Vikings Season 4 Episode 8: “Portage”

Last week on Vikings, Harbard (guest star Kevin Durand) was generous with the love of the women of Kattegat. The Vikings were defeated at Paris. Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) realized how Rollo (Clive Standen) betrayed him. He screamed to Rollo, “This is how you repay my love!” I felt that. I think Gisla (Morgane Polanski) also felt the feelings Rollo still has for Lagertha (Katheryn Winnick). Rollo anticipated their every move and Helga (Maude Hirst) almost died. Ragnar did save Floki (Gustaf Skarsgard) from drowning though. Ecbert (Linus Roache) went to Mercia to talk with Prince Wigstan, who basically handed it over.
