SDCC 2017: Conan Visits Themyscira En Route To SDCC!

Maybe the only thing better than San Diego Comic-Con is the annual tradition of Conan O’Brien doing his show from San Diego with big time guests and surprises. Yesterday marked the beginning of the 4-day geekfest, and Conan was on his way south with co-host Andy Richter driving. Then came the music dispute. Andy only had a tape with one song, “Sexy and I Know It†by LMFAO. Andy wanted his song repeatedly for the 2+ hour drive, Conan was ready to toss the tape. Andy tossed Conan.
Check out where he ended up before SDCC 2017 below.

Andy Serkis Addresses Jar Jar Binks ‘The Force Awakens’ Rumors

There’s been a wacky rumor going around that Lord of the Rings and the Planet of the Apes reboot star Andy Serkis is actually playing Jar Jar Binks, the infamous Star Wars prequel trilogy character, in The Force Awakens, and that the character has become evil over the years.
I’m not sure if anyone actually believed that the rumor was true, but Conan O’Brien asked Serkis about it on Conan, to which the actor confirmed he was in fact playing Jar Jar. Of course this was all in jest, but you can watch the video below to hear Serkis’s Jar Jar impression!

Conan O’Brien Plays ‘Fallout 4’ For “Clueless Gamer” (Video)

Fallout 4 was officially released today (read our review right here), making today a holiday for many gamers.
As part of his late night talk show Conan, host Conan O’Brien, who is not a gamer, does a segment called “Clueless Gamer” in which he plays (or attempts to play) various video games with a little help from someone who knows what they’re doing, Aaron Bleyaert. So for the latest session it made all the sense in the world for Conan to take on Fallout 4. They even built an awesome Fallout inspired set and donned some skintight Vault-Tec vault 111 jumpsuits for the segment.
You can watch the video of O’Brien taking on the Commonwealth wasteland below.

SDCC 2015: Conan Hosts Doctor Who & ‘X-Men: Apocalypse’!

Conan has been at San Diego Comic-Con all week and and host Conan O’Brien has been working furiously (and also announced he would do it again next year!). Wednesday night’s guests were Elijah Wood and Chris Hardwick, after a Mad Max: Fury Road intro and some crazy Wolverine auditions. He hosted the cast of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 on Thursday night, and that was a blast. On Friday night, he hosted the ultimate fanboy’s dream: Danai Gurira, Steven Yeun, and Norman Reedus of The Walking Dead, and the cast of Game of Thrones.
I think he beat his Friday night guests when Doctor Who and the cast of X-Men: Apocalypse showed up.
Check out all the delicious videos below.

SDCC 2015: Conan Hosts The Cast Of ‘Game Of Thrones’

Conan is live at San Diego Comic-Con this week, and host Conan O’Brien‘s had my dream job with guest Chris Hardwick on Wednesday night, after a Mad Max intro and some loony Wolverine auditions. He also had a lot of swearing with the cast of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 on Thursday night.
Last night he got the pleasure of interviewing the cast of two of my favorite shows, Game Of Thrones and The Walking Dead.
Watch both parts of the GoT interview below.

But last night he hosted two of my favorite shows, The Walking Dead and Game Of Thrones. Danai Gurira (Michonne), Steven Yeun (Glenn), and Norman Reedus (Daryl) from The Walking Dead visited the Conan set and had a grand old time.

SDCC 2015: Wolverine Auditions On Conan!

Conan is live at San Diego Comic-Con this week, and we’ve already been treated to a Mad Max: Fury Road style opening, and a Comic-Con citizenship test administered by Chris Hardwick. Conan gave perfect answers. We knew he’d pass!
To keep going with the SDCC 2015 frenzy, Conan O’Brien had a special surprise for those who were bummed about Hugh Jackman vacating the Wolverine role:
Conan: “We were able, don’t ask me how… to get a hold of the Wolverine auditon tapes. I looked at them. I think Jackman is gonna be very hard to replace. Take a look.”
Well. You heard Conan. Take a look! Watch the hilarious video below.
