On Saturday morning in the queue hall of the Javits Center, fans were treated to a supernaturally good time, when the stars and creators of Legacies – the new spinoff of The Vampire Diaries and The Originals – took the stage. Along with series creator Julie Plec and executive producer Brett Matthews, were Danielle Rose Russell, Matt Davis, Jenny Boyd, Kaylee Bryant, Quincy Fouse, Aria Shahghasemi and Peyton Alex Smith. But that’s not all, those in attendance were privy to a special viewing of the pilot episode. And let me tell you, it looks awesome!
Check out some of the highlights of the panel below.
Wonder Director: Stephen Chbosky Screenwriter: Stephen Chbosky Cast: Julia Roberts, Owen Wilson, Jacob Tremblay, Izabela Vidovic, Mandy Patinkin, Daveed Diggs, Noah Jupe, Danielle Rose Russell Distributor: Lionsgate Rated PG | 113 Release Date: November 17, 2017
Based on the children’s novel of the same name, Wonder inspires with its virtuous themes that tell its audience to do the right thing. On the surface, Stephen Chbosky‘s film looks like one of those schmaltzy films so formulaic that you probably already know that it is going to hit all the right emotional notes at all the right times.
But sometimes predictability is not so bad, and underneath that surface, there is something honest and heartfelt about it. There is a refreshing message that reminds us when given the choice to be right or be kind, we should be kind. Check out my full review of Wonder below.
A new trailer has been released for Pandemic, yet another zombie flick added to the ocean of them that already exist. But if you’re like me and never really tire of the zombie sub-genre, it might be one worth checking out. This is especially true for fellow gamers, as the movie is presented mostly from the first-person perspective.
Basically the movie looks like that other first-person movie we’ve seen, Hardcore, with a zombie twist to it. You can read more about Pandemic and check out the trailer for the movie below.
