SYFY released the first look at season two of one of the craziest shows on television right now, Happy!, for New York Comic-Con 2018.
While not a trailer the preview does offer some peeks at footage from the new season paired with comments from those involved with the show. And one of the clear messages of this first look video is that they’re taking things to new levels of insane in the follow-up season, which is something truly difficult to grasp if you witnessed what they got away with in the first season.

’10 Cloverfield Lane’ Director Dan Trachtenberg To Helm Pilot For ‘The Boys’ Based On Garth Ennis, Darick Robertson Comic
We’ve been hearing about an adaptation of Garth Ennis and Darick Robertson‘s The Boys for quite some time now, but nothing ever came of it for many years.
But that’s since changed. The Boys, which is set in a world where superheroes exist and follows a group of vigilantes who are called in to deal with said superheroes when they get out of line, is currently being adapted into a new series for Amazon. And now a director has been hired to help bring the pilot episode of that series to life. It’s being reported that Dan Trachtenberg (10 Cloverfield Lane, Black Mirror) has signed on to direct the first episode of the planned eight-episode first season.

SYFY Orders ‘Happy!’ Season 2
I don’t get to watch a lot of new TV shows I’m interested in checking out. Mainly because I’m terrible at keeping up with them. A molasses-slow consumer of all things entertainment. If it’s not called Game of Thrones, chances are I’m way behind.

Pretty much every way to describe how crazy the show is has been used by those who have watched it, and they’re all accurate. It’s the most batshit bonkers TV show I have ever seen. Which is why it’s so exciting to learn that SYFY has officially ordered a season two.
