The surprising thing about Luca Guadagnino‘s vision for a new Suspiria that will hook audiences may be an actual hook. And lots of other mysterious happenings that will keep them in suspense.
At least that’s what we can expect thanks to the newly released trailer, where a dance academy may not be just a dance academy. Check out the full trailer below.
A teaser trailer has been released for Suspiria, a remake of Dario Argento’s 1977 horror film of the same name.
The remake is directed by Luca Guadagnino, who helmed the recent Academy Award winner Call Me by Your Name, and stars Dakota Johnson, Tilda Swinton, Mia Goth, Jessica Harper, and Chloe Grace Moretz. The screenplay was penned by David Kajganich, who previously wrote The Invasion and Blood Creek, co-wrote the upcoming Pet Sematary remake, and created the AMC series The Terror.

Italian director Dario Argento revolutionized 1970’s horror cinema with masterpieces such as Deep Red, Suspiria, and (collaborating as a producer, with George Romero directing) Dawn of the Dead. His influence has been cited by directors such as John Carpenter, Quentin Tarantino, and Guillermo Del Toro. The subjects of his films have included serial killers, witches, and zombies. But never has Argento tackled the topic of the fanged Prince of Darkness himself…until now.
A new trailer for Dario Argento’s Dracula 3D has been released, and it single-handedly kicks the ass of every sparkly-skinned emo to ever disgrace the genre.
