The Star Wars comic book universe has been at home at Dark Horse Comics for over two decades, but that will come to an end in just a few days as the comics franchise begins anew at Marvel.
Therefore, til the end of the year, Dark Horse is offering a deal of 50% off ALL Star Wars digital comics. Also, if you want to get EVERY Star Wars comic ever released by Dark Horse, you can pay $300 for the Farewell MegaBundle digital deal (which the publisher boasts is “over 28,353 pages of Star Wars goodness”).
For Valentine’s Day weekend, Dark Horse Comics is offering up to 50% off on select Star Wars titles in their “We Heart Star Wars” digital comics sale!
The sale includes some tales of love, including Star Wars: Breaking The Ice – A Valentine’s Story, which features Han Solo and Princess Leia in a pre-Empire Strikes Back story, as well as the Star Wars: Union graphic novel, which centers on Luke Skywalker’s wedding to Mara Jade. There’s also issues of Star Wars: Dark Empire I & II, the current main Star Wars title, and more!
You can also get Star Wars: Union for the Kindle right now for only $7.99.
Dark Horse has announced as a part of their celebrations for Star Wars Day today, that they are releasing two digital comic bundles for May the Fourth. Called MegaBundles, the comics company has released two offers – one being for young readers, a collection of Star Wars comics for all ages costing $30; and the second being a huge deal of over 125 comics for $100!
Both MegaBundles come with an exclusive preview of the upcoming release of The Star Wars, a comic series interpretation of the early original drafts of the first movie by George Lucas, following the adventures of Annakin Starkiller.
Dragon Age #1 Story by David Gaider

Release Date: February 22, 2012
Cover Price: 99¢
Dragon Age #1 is the first in a line of six, 12-page comics being released through the Dark Horse digital exclusive comic program. With a 99-cent price tag and digital distribution, purchasing this issue comes down to whether or not the fantasy genre interests you. I personally play and enjoy Bioware’s Dragon Age games, so I came into this comic with a sense of the world and history behind the franchise. People unfamiliar with Dragon Age shouldn’t be discouraged though, Dragon Age #1 is still a great start to what could be a good digital fantasy epic.
Dark Horse Comics and Dark Horse Digital are currently offering a “Rock & Roll” Sale with collections and 99-cent single issues of Tom Morello‘s Orchid and Gerard Way‘s The Umbrella Academy.
Dark Horse is having a nice weekend of sales, huh? Well, following their Star Wars Mega Bundle Sale, the publishing company is offering us a rock & roll sale that features former Rage Against The Machine guitarist Tom Morello’s brand new Orchid comic book and My Chemical Romance lead vocalist Gerard Way’s The Umbrella Academy, and you can get every single issue from these comics for a mere 99 cents each.
