‘Darth Vader and Son’ Follow-Up ‘Vader’s Little Princess’ Coming This May

Last year on May the Fourth, a celebrated day in Star Wars fandom, Chronicle Books released Darth Vader and Son, the full-color illustrated picture book that humorously and heart-warmingly explored a “what if…” relationship between Darth Vader and his son Luke Skywalker as a toddler.

In my review of the book, by Jeffrey Brown, I said you wouldn’t find a more adorable Star Wars book that year. Well, that year is up, and when May the Fourth rolls around again this year, the adorableness continues with Vader’s Little Princess, Darth Vader and Son‘s follow-up that centers on Luke’s twin sister, Leia. The new 64-page hardcover picture book depicts a relationship between the Dark Lord of the Sith and his daughter, Princess Leia, as a sweet toddler with her hair in the famous buns, as well as in her rebellious teenage years.
