Star Wars joined Instagram this week and what was the first photo they posted?

Of all things, a selfie of big baddie Darth Vader.

The official Star Wars site posted the photo first yesterday, requesting fans that follow their newly created Instagram account; the selfie shows the Darth Lord of the Sith posing in the corridor of the rebel blockade runner with downed stormtroopers and Alderaanian soldiers in the background, as seen in the first Star Wars film.

What would it sound like if instead of James Earl Jones, Arnold Schwarzenegger were chosen to voice Darth Vader in Star Wars? We’ll never know! It’s safe to assume that we’d have much different opinions of the character.

But sometimes it’s fun to pretend we’re surrounded by parallel universes where things are much different than they are here in our own universe. ‘Empire Strikes Back’ Screen Test From 1978 Reveals Boba Fett’s Original All-White Costume

If you’re a die hard devotee of all things pertaining to Star Wars then it might be common knowledge to you that when the saga’s iconic bounty hunting scumbag Boba Fett was first introduced (in live-action form) in 1980’s The Empire Strikes Back, his stylish multi-colored armor was originally intended to be an all-white ensemble, as envisioned by conceptual artist Joe Johnston.

The white variant of the costume was never used, but in 1978 prior to the commencement of principal photography on Empire, Johnston’s original design was briefly brought to life in a rare black and white screen test.
