What would you do if when you turned 21 you inherited more than a namesake or a family fortune? For Jackie Estacado this was the case. Jackie was a hitman for the Franchetti mob that his Uncle Frankie ran, and with his 21st birthday only a couple of days away, he had no idea what was in store for him, only The Darkness knew!

Jackie was at the top of his game he loved driving fast cars and spending time with an assortment of women, and eating in fancy restaurants when he wasn’t taking care of business for the family. Being adopted at a young age by his uncle and never knowing his father due to the fact that he passed away before Jackie was born, Jackie held a lot of anger toward his father. The reason why awaits you in the book. (I would hate to spoil it for the readers). As Jackie turns 21, The Darkness emerges presenting itself and all the power that goes along with it. Being submerged into a battle that has been going on for centuries with a being known as the Angelus, Jackie must learn to use his powers and learn all the things that come with it whether good or bad.
