Almost one year ago, we found out that a live-action Swamp Thing series was in the works for DC’s streaming service DC Universe.
Now a teaser trailer has been released for the series, which is based on the DC characters written and drawn by Len Wein and Bernie Wrightson. And if you’re a fan of horror, it’s something you’re definitely going to want to see.
You can check out the trailer below, along with a brief synopsis and a reveal video that was shared last week.
DC Universe will be an online hub for all things DC Comics. Not only is it a place to access classic shows and read some great comics books, it will also be a place for original content like Titans. The show based on the younger heroes of DC Comics will see Robin (Brenton Thwaites) bring a group of superpowered beings like Raven (Teagan Croft), Starfire (Anna Diop), and Beast Boy (Ryan Potter) to become a new group of defenders. While reactions have been mixed, DC Universe has ordered a second season of the show right before the first one is supposed to air. Which is an extremely high vote of confidence. More on this, plus a new trailer here below.
The DC Universe has dropped their first trailer for the live-action Titans, and it’s something. Unlike the sunny and comical Teen Titans we’ve seen on Cartoon Network, this is a complete departure from all of that. It’s looks darker, grittier, and Robin has a choice word about his former mentor Batman. A four letter choice word to be precise.
Check out the first trailer for Titans, along with how much the DC Universe streaming service will cost, below.
A new DC Universe is on the horizon. There is the DCEU for films. Then there is the Arrowverse for those who may like television. But for those who love to stream, the DC Universe is about to launch later this summer, and now we are getting our first look at what they have to offer in an all-new trailer. Check it out here below.
