For some, parenthood is easy and comes almost naturally. For others, it can be a bit of a challenge. And I cannot say that I am an authority figure on motherhood, given my clear lack of experience, but Jason Reitman‘s Tully, a comedy-drama starring Charlize Theron and Mackenzie Davis, is probably one of the most honest depictions of what it is like to be a mother in a contemporary age. Check out my full review of the film here below.
Focus Features has released an official trailer for Tully, the latest from the team behind Juno, director Jason Reitman and screenwriter Diablo Cody.
The movie stars Oscar winner Charlize Theron (Monster, Mad Max: Fury Road) as a burnt out mother who gets a night nanny played by Mackenzie Davis (Halt and Catch Fire, The Martian) to help her out and ends up forming a bond with her. Also starring is Mark Duplass (Safety Not Guaranteed, Creep) and Ron Livingston (Office Space, Adaptation).

The official trailer is out for the new Meryl Streep movie, Ricki And The Flash, about a woman who gave up her family to be a rock star, but now it’s time to go home and make things right.
Just a week or so after losing Lily Collins, Deadline reports that the upcoming remake/reboot of the Evil Dead franchise regained a leading lady, this time in the form of Suburgatory star Jane Levy.
The new Evil Dead will be helmed by Fede Alvarez, who also wrote the film’s script which is currently getting the once over from current “˜it’ scribe Diablo Cody, and will find Levy as Mia, “a character that corresponds to Ash,” the original series protagonist.
After it was announced that not only would the beloved Evil Dead franchise would be rebooted with a script from Diablo Cody and director Fede Alvarez, but that one Lily Collins would be the star of the film. However, that’s not the case.
Variety’s Jeff Sneider tweeted that the actress would be leaving the project due to scheduling issues. No one has popped up replacing the young thespian, but this is such a hot project, it’s impossible to see this thing staying vacant for too long.
