For the fifth and final consecutive week of this celebration of Disneyland Resort’s sixtieth anniversary, which has ranged from reflecting on favorite commercials to envisioning the future of the resort, I add even more of a personal touch to this edition.
Here are six of my favorite Disneyland Resort-related possessions that I have obtained over the years (more specifically, over the past two decades).
More than a year ago I wrote a column centered on the potential to have various Marvel properties enter the Disney theme parks. Not much has unfolded since that time, save for a few character meet-and-greet opportunities, merchandise, and a temporary sneak peek of Guardians of the Galaxy prior to its debut.
More ideas fill my head of what the Imagineers can accomplish in “winning” over both Disney and Marvel aficionados. Take these imaginary projects for the Disneyland Resort as food for thought.
More than 150 columns later – and counting – and the invigorating content on Disney In Depth continues. Writing a column practically every week here for Geeks of Doom has always been a privilege and a wonderful platform to share Disney features, news, videos, and commentary with all of you.
I thought now would be a perfect time to revisit some favorite Disney In Depth columns of the past. Stroll down memory lane with me as we recall some of the fantastic Disney experiences we have shared together, or perhaps check out a column you may have missed along the adventure.
Welcome to California… albeit that you are already in California when in this park. Though once discounted as Disneyland’s unwanted sibling of a park, Disney California Adventure Park has evolved in the past 13 years to become a must-visit destination. February 2014 marks the 13th anniversary of the place that celebrates all things Golden State. Though 13 could be considered an unlucky number – and equally so, for much time Disney California Adventure was referred to as unlucky – the park has been a fortune for the Disneyland Resort.
Here are 13 Reasons Why Disney California Adventure Rocks (in no particular order).
