If you’re a major Disney fan, you yearn to check off various experiences, whether you have a formal list or not.
You’re in luck, as I have compiled 50 Disney Bucket List Items – most of them related to the parks and other destinations, but others as well – that you can work toward achieving.
To celebrate the recent 50th anniversary of the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction and to go along with the release of the upcoming Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Johnny Depp made a live and in-person appearance as Jack Sparrow at Disneyland Park recently, much to the shock of guests enjoying the ride.
Disney has released a video of Depp’s surprise appearance, and if you haven’t already seen it you can check it out below.
Hundreds of new Disney songs surfaced in the past few decades, many of them defining our childhood and young adult years. We listened to them on an endless loop via our cassettes and CDs. Many tunes, however, may have escaped our memories or even not entered our lives at all. The world of Disney music is vast in both scope and setting, ranging from our television screens and home video to the theme parks and on stage.
This first edition of a two-part feature on Disney In Depth explores the songs you may have missed or forgotten, but should very well revisit.
Maps of the Disney Parks Hardcover
Text By Kevin and Susan Neary
Maps Curated by Vanessa Hunt
Publisher: Disney Editions
Release date: October 18, 2016
How would we live without maps? They give us direction and purpose. Some lead us down new paths. Others familiarize us with common settings. The park maps we snatch upon entering any of the Disney theme parks accomplish just this. Even more, the meta atmosphere of Disney often means there are maps within maps. Thankfully a new book from Disney Editions titled Maps of the Disney Parks compiles both the dated and novel park maps, as well as maps featured within the park settings.
Duo Kevin and Susan Neary, along with Disney Imagineer Vanessa Hunt, have produced a wonderful publication of lush visuals galore that should nicely complement your edition of Hunt’s Poster Art of the Disney Parks.
Finishing up with a special three-part edition of Disney In Depth, this third and final article recognizes even more defining moments in The Walt Disney Company’s history over these past 50 years (1967 – 2016) since Walt died.
Let the 50 Defining Moments Since Walt Disney Died conclude!
