This week’s Black Metal Friday track comes to us courtesy of the Swedish wolf pack. Watain took their name from the title of a song by pioneering American black metal unit Von. A couple of members of the band also played briefly with the late, great Jon Nödtveidt in the legendary Dissection. Upon emerging from prison, he would resurrect the band with new members who would be “able to “stand behind and live up to the demands of Dissection’s Satanic concept.” This would be the lineup that would record the final Dissection album, the 2006 masterpiece Reinkaos.
