The Game Awards 2015: ‘Psychonauts 2’ Announcement Trailer

Fans of Double Fine Productions’ Psychonauts have been waiting for a sequel for a long time now, and during The Game Awards 2015 an announcement trailer for the game was shared.

But there’s a bit of a catch. Double Fine has looked to (and found much success with) crowdfunding to make their games, and they are doing the same for Psychonauts 2. But this is a different kind of crowdfunding. Instead of going with the usual Kickstarter or Indiegogo, they’re going with a company called fig. This allows you not only to back the game for rewards, but if you want, you can actually INVEST in the game and make some money back depending on how well it does when released.

Watch Now: ‘Grim Fandango’ Remastered Launch Trailer

After raising over 3.3 million dollars nearly two years ago on Kickstarter, Broken Age is finally being released on January 28th. Double Fine has decided to split up the game into two parts and release act 1 now and act 2 sometime in the near future. So has this point and click adventure been worth the wait? And more importantly, is it worth your money?
