With Entourage set to hit theaters tomorrow, the boys at Screen Junkies saw it timely to give us an Honest TV Trailer for”¦ well you guessed it, Entourage. I’d like to preface this review by admitting that I never watched one episode of the show on HBO. That said, narrator Jon Bailey hits it out of the ballpark right away, with a dead-on comparison to Sex and the City. That being four women shamelessly having sex in NY, versus Entourage being four guys shamelessly having sex in LA. An LA filled with “boobs, butts, bongs, chicks, and NO black people!”
The first teaser trailer for the upcoming Entourage movie has been released online by Warner Brothers Pictures.
The movie is based on the hit HBO comedy of the same name, and stars Adrian Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Jerry Ferrara, Kevin Dillon, and Jeremy Piven. You can read a full synopsis and watch the first trailer for Entourage below.
When Doug Ellin‘s hit HBO show Entourage ended after an 8-year run last year, fans were hoping to see its movie, where Ari (Jeremy Piven) works his magic as a studio head and Vince (Adrien Grenier) begins his new life as a married man. Sure enough, there was a movie in the works, and now Ellin has announced that he is 110 pages into the screenplay and that it’s nearing completion.
According to Deadline, the film will take place six months after the events of the series finale, where Ari is finally a studio head, Vince is steps away from getting married, but the group still goes out to hang at exclusive parties, something that was the basis of the show for eight years running. Basically if it ain’t broke, why fix it.
The stars of the two greatest modern boxing movie epics could be getting in the ring for a cinematic heavyweight clash. Sylvester Stallone and Robert De Niro, the respective stars of the Oscar-winners Rocky and Raging Bull, are both in negotiations to star in Grudge Match for Warner Bros. This would mark the second time the two Italian-American film legends have appeared in a movie together, the first being the 1997 James Mangold-directed crime drama Cop Land (pictured above).
According to Lucas Shaw at The Wrap, Stallone and De Niro would play “two aging boxers who plan one final match against one another.”
