Back in June, BookExpo and BookCon came to Jacob Javitz Convention Center in NYC where book lovers galore swarmed publishing booths, with industry people there for the expo and book fans for the con. One of the most interesting booths I visited was Weldon Owen, an imprint of Insight Editions (of such visually brilliant tomes such as Die Hard: The Ultimate Visual History and The Art Of The Strain). They have a plethora of beautiful books coming out that I am dizzy with excitement about.

TV shows don’t get much more prim and proper than the hit British period drama Downton Abbey, as anyone who’s a fan will surely tell you. So when a video of some of the ladies of the show sitting down recently for a friendly session of the raunchy and vulgar card game Cards Against Humanity is released, you simply must give it a watch…even if you’ve never seen the show, such as myself.

Actresses Laura Carmichael (Lady Edith Crawley), Lesley Nicol (Mrs. Patmore), and Phyllis Logan (Mrs. Hughes) played the card game together for Entertainment Weekly, and you see how it all went down below.

Every day, Amazon offers up Lightning Deals, limited quantities of various products for a discounted price for a 4-hour window of time. You have to be on the lookout for these deals and once the item runs out, the sale is over. Meaning, if you see something on sale that you want, buy it immediately before it’s gone.
