30 Minute ‘Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain’ Gameplay Demo

E3 2014 was jam-packed with video game previews, as was expected, but one game not spotlighted much—at least not publicly—was Hideo Kojima‘s upcoming sequel Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. A new cinematic trailer for the game was released during E3, but the good stuff, the gameplay footage, was shown only behind closed doors.

Now, a week or so later, Kojima took part in a livestream in which the 30-minute gameplay demo shown at E3 was shared with the rest of the world. You can check it out below.

E3 2014: World War I Game ‘Valiant Hearts’ Trailer

Many games were presented at E3 2014—some looking intense; some looking scary; some looking visually stunning; and some looking like a hell of a lot fun. But none looked quite as beautifully depressing as Valiant Hearts: The Great War.

The game is set during World War I, mixing exploration, action, and puzzles in a 2D adventure. It’s inspired by letters written during the Great War, and you’ll relive historical battles playing as four different characters joined by a faithful canine companion.

E3 2014: First Look At ‘The Legend Of Zelda’ On Nintendo’s Wii U

Another upcoming game coming for the Wii U is a new title in The Legend of Zelda series arriving sometime in 2015.

While it’s not much, a brief preview of the new game was shown at Nintendo’s digital E3 2014 event. Basically the video gives you an idea of just how big the open-world map you’ll get to explore as Link will be. It’s not Skyrim or anything, but as far as Wii U games go it’s a natural progression Zelda fans have likely craved for a long time now.

E3 2014: New ‘Destiny’ Gameplay Previews and Trailer

Halo creator Bungie was of course in attendance at E3 2014 to share more of their ambitious ten-year, $500 million blockbuster hopeful Destiny.
