A new gameplay trailer for Detroit: Become Human from Indigo Prophecy, Heavy Rain, and Beyond: Two Souls developer Quantic Dream was shared at PGW 2017.
The story is set in the future, when androids have become highly advanced—to the point where they’re almost indistinguishable from humans. But these androids are treated poorly by many, who consider them mere objects, tools, appliances to make their own lives easier. As was the case with Heavy Rain, the game features multiple characters you’ll play as whose stories will change depending on the choices you make.

A new trailer and an 11-minute gameplay demo for South Park: The Fractured But Whole, the sequel to The Stick of Truth, were released this week. The game was announced at the E3 event two years ago.
In the first game the kids were playing Lord of the Rings-style fantasy, and as we’ve seen in previously released trailers and videos for The Fractured But Whole, they’ve jumped over to playing superhero franchises.

Another game announced during E3 2017 this week looks like one that will mess with the ol’ brain a bit. The game is titled Transference, and it comes from Elijah Wood and his production company SpectreVision in collaboration with Ubisoft. It also features Macon Blair, who starred in Blue Ruin and Green Room, and recently directed Wood in the Netflix movie I Don’t Feel at Home in This World Anymore.
Transference is a virtual reality experience, but will also be playable on traditional platforms as well. You can read more about it and watch the announcement trailer as well as a second video about the game below.
During Bethesda’s E3 2017 showcase, they shared trailers for a pair of upcoming virtual reality titles, Fallout 4 VR and DOOM VFR. Some were hoping that this meant we might also see a VR experience for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim as well, but nothing was said about it at the time.
As it turned out, the trailer for a Skyrim VR experience was simply being saved for a little bit later. It was shown during Sony’s PlayStation presentation earlier this week, because the game is being released on PlayStation VR. Continue below to read more about the game and to check out the trailer if you haven’t seen it.
If you love pirates and video games, you’re probably pretty excited about a game like Sea of Thieves. But as it turns out, that’s not the only pirate game on the way. During Ubisoft’s E3 2017 presentation, a game called Skull & Bones was introduced which also offers some good old pirate fun.
Basically, Ubisoft took the knowledge they gained in crafting naval battles in games like Assassin’s Creed III and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, and ran with it.
