As far as vehicles go, the DeLorean was something of a flop when it was first unveiled back in the ’80s. But thanks to Back to the Future, it became one of the most iconic cars ever made, and die–hard fans everywhere would give limbs to have one all to themselves.
Now it’s being reported that the DeLorean Motor Company has announced new plans for the fanboy dream car. Starting in 2013 (hopefully), the company will begin offering made–to–order electric–powered DeLoreans for all of you green geeks. You’d have to be a wealthy green geek, however, as each electrified time traveler will set you back close to $90,000.
