Remakes simply can’t be helped. So in order to help a remake from feeling repetitious, it’s going to have to offer an interesting twist in order to keep things fresh. In the case of What Men Want, a re-imagining of the Mel Gibson-starring comedy vehicle What Women Want, we see Taraji P. Henson take the lead as a woman with the ability to hear men’s most inner thoughts.

As the seasons start getting closer and the prospect of gift giving starts to clear off the cobwebs and come front and center to everyone’s consciousness yet again, there’s always the enigma of what to get, and more importantly, will the recipient be satisfied? Swedish television journalists journeyed to America to document the rise of the Black Power Movement in the ’60s and ’70s. The footage was largely forgotten and was in storage for more than 30 years. Director Goran Hugo Olsson has compiled this footage into a mixtape which highlights key figures and events in the Black Power Movement called The Black Power Mixtape 1967-1975. People who were alive during this time can view the footage through the eyes of a neutral party. Those who were not alive and have never seen this footage can witness a pivotal point in American history with a contemporary presentation.
