David Allen, Tim Grant and myself haven’t slept in days – we’re too busy watching the 25th Anniversary of Discovery Channel’s Shark Week. I mean seriously, how can you afford to sleep knowing there’s Grade-A programming like this being broadcast over the airwaves? Hey, speaking of sharks…

Nicolas Cage In For ‘The Expendables 3’; Eastwood, Snipes & Ford In Talks

The Expendables 2 raised the bar by adding more classic action stars (Chuck Norris and Jean-Claude Van Damme) to the film series, and as the saying goes, nothing really beats the classics. So for The Expendables 3, fans shouldn’t be surprised to see even more classic action superstars punch, kick, fight, and bomb their way through enemy forces.

Obviously with a sequel such as this one, the question of who would you like to see be added to the next installment will come up and producer Avi Lerner did throw out a couple of names that should excite fans of The Expendables franchise. Among the stars the producer mentioned were Nicolas Cage, Wesley Snipes, Harrison Ford, and Clint Eastwood. Quite a collection of names which should make for a very exciting sequel. In fact, Cage is reportedly signed on for the third film, while the other three are still in negotiations.
