During E3 2018 we got much more information on Fallout 76, Bethesda’s gigantic new game set in the Fallout universe you’ll be able to explore with friends.
One of the things we learned about, was that the game would have nukes. And not the tiny—though still very much deadly—mini nukes we’re used to collecting during these games. But actual, full-size nuclear warheads. On your adventures you can find pieces of a launch code, and if you’re able to find a full launch code or other players with pieces who will join with you to form a full code, you can then choose to obliterate a location on the map if you so wish.
Bethesda’s latest Vault-Tec animated video has been released, which educates viewers on this nuclear option. You can find that video and more below.
Last week for QuakeCon 2018 we saw a pair of videos looking at the perks and multiplayer of Bethesda Game Studios’ next big release, Fallout 76.
Now, with Gamescom 2018 happening this week, another animated Vault-Tec educational video has been released. This time the video teaches us about the crafting and building in Fallout 76.
Click on over to the other side for more on the game and to watch the videos.
In addition to sharing some peeks at DOOM Eternal gameplay footage at QuakeCon 2018 this past weekend, some new videos for developer Bethesda Game Studios’ Fallout 76 were shared.
Both of the videos are presented in the familiar old animation style, with everyone’s favorite Vault Boy helping to share some new info on both the perks system in the game, as well as the multiplayer.
Continue below to find both videos, as well as Bethesda’s panel from QuakeCon 2018 if interested.
Bethesda Game Studios’ Fallout 76 was unveiled with a cinematic trailer at the end of last month. But that didn’t tell us anything about what the game actually was. There were rumors that it was some sort of online game, but nothing official.
Now we know much more about the game. At E3 2018, a new trailer was released showing the game in action, and that was followed by much more gameplay. It was also confirmed that this is in fact an online game you can play with friends and strangers. But thankfully, you can also play solo if you prefer. The game is a monster, too, as it will be four times larger than Fallout 4.
See how the game looks and get details on what it is and when you’re going to be able to play it below.
On this week’s The Drill Down podcast, Netflix is bigger than Disney (briefly), is Amazon secretly recording your conversations?, has your internet router been hijacked by Russian hackers?, why you’re seeing all those pesky privacy notices… and much, much more.
