A new story trailer and gameplay video have been released for the game, a standalone sequel to last year’s Far Cry 5 which is set in the same location at a different time. You can find these videos and much more info on the game below. But fair warning: if you haven’t yet played Far Cry 5 and plan to, you may want to hold off until you get to play it.
Ubisoft released Far Cry 5 last week, and things have gone extremely well so far. Not only is it the fastest-selling game in the franchise so far, doubling Far Cry 4‘s sales numbers, but it’s also the second biggest launch for Ubisoft overall, behind only The Division. Based on what we’ve seen of the game, that’s not too surprising.
But that isn’t the only thing Ubisoft has released recently. They also released a live-action short film set in the same world as Far Cry 5, which is titled “Inside Eden’s Gate.” The short runs a lengthy 30 minutes, and you can find it below along with more info on the game.
A pair of trailers have been released for Far Cry 5 showcasing a trio of post-launch DLC as well as the game’s Arcade mode.
The game already looks like a wild ride, judging from what we’ve seen of it in trailers and gameplay videos, but Ubisoft is clearly going all-out with the latest entry in the series after watching the two trailers below. The three DLC releases will see you heading to Vietnam in “Hours of Darkness,” dealing with the undead in “Dead Living Zombies,” and even taking a trip to the Red Planet in “Lost on Mars.” While the Arcade mode offers players the chance to create original content or play original content created by others.
