The last time we had a brush with death was in 2010’s The Final Destination. As it turned out, that installment in the horror movie franchise was by far the worst of them all with horrible acting, nonsensical situations, soap opera-level acting, and just an all-around unlikable final product. And that’s coming from someone who very much enjoyed the previous installments in the series for what they are: gruesomely fun guilty pleasures.
Final Destination 5 just hit theaters this weekend. In conjunction with the film’s theatrical release, WB has given Geeks of Doom one (1) Blu-ray Edition of Final Destination signed by creator Jeffrey Reddick to give away to one lucky reader!
One (1) winner will receive:

If you’re familiar with the Final Destination movie franchise, then you know the films are basically good for one thing — the deaths.
Yes, it’s one of those horror franchises where you watch and wait for the next grotesque death to occur. If you watch the movies in a packed theater, you can expect a lot of “OH SNAP!”s being exclaimed from your fellow movie-goers.
While some of the movies in the series have been less than stellar, Final Destination 5, which comes to theaters [oh snap!] this weekend, promises to be a return to form, from what I hear. But that doesn’t leave a lot of time to catch up with the series if you haven’t seen the previous movies. So, instead of trying to sit through about 6 hours’ worth of Final Destination films, you can instead watch this video here below that contains every death sequence from the first four movies.
Jen Abrams, Eve Conte, and Justin Vactor host this angst-ridden episode to talk about the trailers for Harry Potter and Let Me In; movie box office numbers, mini reviews of recent viewings, and a review of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, finished off with an insightful discussion of who’s better for Bella, Edward or Jacob? The sparks fly on the first episode of Flix of Doom!
Bloody-Disgusting has uncovered a bit of information regarding Warner Brothers Pictures fifth installment in the Final Destination franchise. And though we don’t know much about the movie itself, what we read here could just say a lot about what direction the horror flick is heading in.
We won’t waste your time — let’s get right to it. According to the source, Warner Bros. is currently leaning toward calling their new movie 5NAL DESTINATION. Yes, that’s actually what words are indicating could be the new title. Five-nal Destination. Seriously.
