We’ve seen some trailers for Call of Cthulhu in the past. The game comes from developer Cyanide Studios, and is inspired by the work of H.P. Lovecraft and, more specifically, the pen-and-paper RPG of the same name made by Chaosium.

In Call of Cthulhu, you play as a man investigating mysterious deaths in a place called Darkwater Island in the 1920s. For Gamescom 2018 a new gameplay preview video was released by publisher Focus Home Interactive, which you can find below along with much more info on the game.

I’ve never heard of A Plague Tale: Innocence from developer Asobo Studio, let alone seen anything from it. But it’s been in the works for a while now.

The game follows the journey of a brother and sister across 14th century France as the Black Death ravages the world around them. For Gamescom 2018, publisher Focus Home Interactive has shared a 16-minute gameplay demo to showcase how it looks. And it looks pretty darn good. Dark and depressing, but good nonetheless.

Continue below for more on the game and to check out the gameplay demo, along with some previously released trailers.

Launch Trailer For Choice-Based Game ‘The Council’ Released
  |  @   |

Back in December we saw a trailer for developer Big Bad Wolf’s The Council, an episodic narrative game in which your choices and skill development affect how the story plays out.

You play as a member of a secret society in the late 1700s, who’s invited to a private island alongside other guests like George Washington and Napoleon Bonaparte. While there you’ll engage in conversations and improve the skills you feel will be most useful to you—both helping determine how the story unfolds. There is no game over scenario here; no matter what happens due to the things you do and say, the results are permanent and the story will move forward.

The first episode of The Council, titled “The Mad Ones,” arrives today and a launch trailer has been released. You can read more about the game and watch the trailer along with a recently released video below.
