Paramount Pictures has released the second trailer for Chris Wedge‘s Monster Truck. And it is exactly like it sounds. It’s a monster in a truck. If that doesn’t sound special or like something that might appeal to you, then you should know that this is one of the films that Paramount predicts they will lose money on. But maybe, just maybe, this is something that will surprise us all. But judging by the way it looks, don’t be surprised if you hear a lot of negative things about it.
Netflix is making one final push to promote the upcoming Luke Cage, which debuts this weekend. The series is the third in Marvel and Netflix’s collaboration that sees Marvel heroes that fight crime in the streets of New York, rather than go on grand adventures like Iron Man or Agent Coulson. And perhaps that is one of the reasons why they have been a huge draw, it is that willingness to take these heroes and ground them and make them just a little bit more relatable. Daredevil and Jessica Jones have been bonafide hits, and based on early reactions, it is safe to say that Luke Cage could be a hit as well.
