  |  @   |

Disney will be releasing Tim Burton‘s latest stop-motion animated feature Frankenweenie this Friday. So to mark the special occasion, the studio has unveiled six vintage posters inspired by some of the great horror movie classics. Like Sparky, which is a dog that has Frankenstein-like qualities, these posters feature the other household pets seen in the film sharing some sort of trait with a classic horror monster.

Check out all six vintage posters below.

Based on the live-action short of the same name, Frankenweenie follows a boy named Victor who successfully brings his beloved dog back to life by using the miracles of science. When his classmates find out about this, they attempt to do the same thing in order to win the school science fair. However, their attempts do not warrant the same results as Victor’s did.

Watch Now: Second Trailer For Tim Burton’s Stop-Motion Feature ‘Frankenweenie’
  |  @   |

This summer, audiences didn’t seem to show much affection towards Tim Burton‘s Dark Shadows, and rightfully so, since the film was critically panned. Now that that film is behind him, Burton is now turning his attention to Frankenweenie.

The teaser trailer was released back in March, and now a new trailer for the film has arrived online, giving a more in depth look at the story. You can see the new trailer below.
