Another new gameplay demo for Gears of War 4 has been released, which introduces a couple of new enemies. If you missed them, be sure to also check out the first gameplay demo from E3 2015, the second gameplay demo from E3 2016, and the most recently released third gameplay demo with original trilogy main character Marcus Fenix back in the fight.
The demo is also available to watch in shiny super duper high-def 4K for you gamers who like things running at a maximum. In addition to the 4K gameplay demo, the PC specs for the game have also been revealed. You can see the gameplay demo and PC specs below.
We’ve already known that the legend himself, Marcus Fenix (voiced by Futurama star John DiMaggio), would be part of the story in Gears of War 4. Marcus was the main character of the original Gears trilogy.
His son JD Fenix (Spartacus star Liam McIntyre) is the main character this time around, but in a new Gears 4 gameplay demo we see old Marcus is back in the fight. You can read more about the game and see the video below.
Fans of the Gears of War franchise were treated to a new gameplay demo for Gears of War 4, which was first revealed at last year’s E3.
That first gameplay demo was nice and all, but this new one definitely takes things to another level, with more of the enemies you’ll be facing off against, some of the weapons you’ll be using to dispatch them with (including some brutal melee finishers, as fans would expect), and the terrifying world all of this is happening in.
You can check out the new Gears 4 gameplay demo below!
We haven’t heard a whole lot about Gears of War 4. We saw that gameplay demo come out of E3 last year, but nothing much since then. But the game is coming, and soon enough where a beta for the game’s multiplayer is being held in the near future.
The beta will first be open early to those who have played Gears of War: Ultimate Edition. After that, an open beta for all who want to give it a try will start. You can get full details on when the beta is happening below.
Before Epic Games’ wonderfully brutal Gears of War was released in 2006, becoming a smash hit and spawning two equally excellent sequels and a not quite as popular spinoff, it was a simple trailer that really caught the attention of gamers everywhere.
Considered to be one of the all-time best video game trailers ever, it was only a cinematic, featuring no gameplay, but it showed what looked like an intense science fiction adventure set to Gary Jules’ cover of the Tears For Fears song “Mad World.” And, as you might have figure out, it was the song that really stood out and made the game stick in viewers’ minds. The cover was actually recorded for the 2001 film Donnie Darko, but the usage in the Gears trailer saw it propelled to the number one spot on iTunes five years after it was made.
Now, with the upcoming release of Gears of War Ultimate Edition later this month fast approaching, a new trailer has been made smartly using “Mad World” once again to try to re-ignite some of that original excitement.
