‘The King’s Man’ Trailer: All The King’s Men Put A Spy Agency Together Again
The first two Kingsman films introduced the film world to a higher class of spying. Based on the Mark Millar comics of the same name, the franchise is a fun take on the genre that had grown too dark and gritty in recent years. But all agencies have a beginning, and that is no different with the Kingsman. So before all the tailored clothes, fashionable high tech gadgetry, and the manners, there was The King’s Man. My favorite film of 2016 was South Korean zombie flick Train to Busan. Just when I thought I had seen it all from zombies, I watched The Girl With All the Gifts, just released in a Blu-ray/DVD combo pack. The film is written by Mike (M.R.) Carey who also penned the novel in 2014.
Spoilers below.
