Last night’s Louie was not crazy scary like last week’s when “Awful Being,” as the scariest creature on earth was called in this episode, kept popping up. It actually was my favorite episode of Louie ever, even though I’m too scared to ever watch it again.

Second Opinion: ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ Movie Review
  |

If you really want to see a totally ass-kicking space fantasy adventure movie that is well-written and produced, with characters you care about from start to finish, then go see Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy. Based on the Marvel comic of the same name, it’s the action flick of the year, hands-down.

Peter Quill, aka Star Lord (Chris Pratt) has found a mysterious orb that holds the key to the salvation – or destruction – of an entire planet and the race of people who live on it. Chased by the henchmen of Ronan the Accuser (Lee Pace) and with a bounty on his head, he encounters Gamora (Zoe Saldana), a killer raised by the mysterious character Thanos (Josh Brolin), as well as Rocket (Bradley Cooper), a self-aware raccoon who’s the product of genetic experimentation. Rocket’s accomplice is the giant enigmatic plant-being Groot (Vin Diesel), whose vocabulary is seemingly limited to the three words “I am Groot.” Arrested by Nova HQ and sentenced to prison, the group encounters Drax the Destroyer (David Bautista), whose family was killed by Ronan, and who has sworn to avenge their deaths.

James Gunn Returning For ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy 2’
  |

Guardians of the Galaxy, the latest feature from Marvel Studios, currently has a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes based off of 25 reviews. Do you know how difficult it is to get that perfect of a rating? Only the truest classics and greatest films of all time are able to reach that magic number. Plus there are many films beloved by all that barely crack the 90s. The rating might drop a bit as the film gets closer to its theatrical release next week, but right now Guardians stands a mighty chance at being one of the best-reviewed motion pictures of 2014 and one of the most successful August releases in history. And seeing as how this is a Marvel movie, naturally Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is being discussed.

Though a sequel has not been officially announced yet (Marvel could still make the announcement at their Saturday Comic-Con panel), they’re confident enough that the first will do well enough to warrant a second entry, and they want Gunn to return for it. Continue reading for more.

The ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy’ Argue Over How Good 12 Percent Of A Plan Is In This New Clip
  |

Marvel Studios has released a funny new clip from their upcoming feature Guardians of the Galaxy that gives us a brief yet interesting look at the dynamic of our intrepid quintet of unlikely heroes. You can watch the minute-long scene here below.
