Last week on The Flash, Cisco (Carlos Valdes) came up with a flawed (but from the heart) plan to prevent Barry (Grant Gustin) from making new memories, so that Savitar-the-Barry-remnant wouldn’t know what it was. It was too successful. Barry and Savitar got complete amnesia. Both myself and Iris (Candice Patton) were happy to see this lighthearted Barry without all the darkness and pain, falling in love with her all over again. Unfortunately, Barry was also crucial to a court case, resulting in a firebug walking. Said firebug attacked, but Wally (Keiynan Lonsdale) had no powers because Savitar never awakened them, and Barry couldn’t control his. Killer Frost (Danielle Panabaker) showed up to help Cisco and Julian (Tom Felton) fix the mess. They got to the Caitlin underneath. HR and Tracy (Tom Cavanagh, Anne Dudek) started falling in love. She finished the “speed force bazooka” but it needs a lot of energy… energy that is guarded by King Shark.

Last week on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, evil Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) said the overridecode to Gideon and plunges the timeship into a whirlwind that landed in Jurassic World. Luckily, Ray (Brandon Routh) still had all his knowledge and shelter from when he was stuck there. Last time on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Damian Darhk (Neal McDonough) narrated the opening, and we got to see how Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman) hooked up with Darhk and Eobard Thawne (Matt Letscher). There was trouble in paradise, with the two seething at Eobard Thawne’s highhandness, while simultaneously at each other’s throats. They were trying to get info out of Rip (Arthur Darvill), but the info just wasn’t there. A safety deposit box in 2025 had a piece of the Spear of Destiny, but they could not get in. Malcolm and Darhk have an assassins sword fight, until the “hippie” made them realize that they should work together. Lily Stein (Christina Brucato) found out she was a time aberration. The team figured out why Thawne was always on the move. The Legion of Doom trapped the monster (kinda looks like a zombie Flash) in a bank vault as partners.

Last time on The Flash, we saw a bit of Julian’s (Tom Felton) history, which basically explained the Alchemy/Savitar situation with something called the Philosopher’s Stone. Earth-3’s Jay Garrick (John Wesley Shipp) was supportive (almost like a dad), with wise words and a suggestion to get rid of the Philosophers Stone (oh yeah-fixed Julian and “fixed” Savitar), of throwing it in the speed force. Barry (Grant Gustin) accidentally ran 5 months into the future and watched Iris (Candice Patton) die at the hands of Savitar. Barry gave Iris an awesome apartment for Christmas.

Last week on DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, they ran into The Justice Society of America in 1942. And by “ran into” I mean “got captured by.” Nate Haywood (Nick Zano) was giddy because he met his grandfather, Commander Steel (Matthew MacCaull), and tried to prove the familial connection through his dog-tags, and personal stories. We saw two of our favorite presently dead villains in the past, Eobard Thawne and Damian Darhk (Matt Letscher and Neal McDonough), in cahoots with each other and the Nazis, for nukes and a super serum. Sarah (Caity Lotz) tried to kill Darhk to prevent Laurel’s death, and Thawne ended up killing Rex Tyler (Patrick J. Adams), spurring Vixen (Maisie Richardson-Sellers) to blame Mick (Dominic Purcell).
