Heroes Reborn premieres tomorrow night, so NBC threw us one more bone before we are immersed in EVO land. Tim Kring‘s 13-episode limited series picks up years after the Claire Bennet came out to the world, but now Evolved Humans are in hiding after being blamed for a terrorist attack in Odessa, Texas. New EVOs are discovering their powers, and old EVOs are taking up the mantle to answer the call, “Where are the heroes?”

“Memories are funny things. the good ones fill our lives with meaning, while other memories can deceive. When you look back on the decisions you’ve made in your life, the one thing you don’t wanna feel… is regret.”
That is the voice of HRG aka Noah Bennett (Jack Coleman), who in our original series went from bad guy to good guy, and back again as fast as a teenager changes clothes. He is back in Heroes Reborn, the 13-episode limited series that takes place years after Claire Bennett outs her own kind on national TV.
I clicked play for the first chapter of Heroes Reborn: Dark Matters web series, the prequel to Tim Kring‘s Heroes Reborn limited series, airing in September, and got goosebumps. The first chapter gives a little history about the EVOs (Evolved Humans), via Hero_Truther (good name), and how it went from miraculous wonder to fearful hate.
Heroes Reborn had a panel at San Diego Comic-Con today. On the panel were creator Tim Kring, moderator and cast member Greg Grunberg (Matt Parkman), Jack Coleman (HRG – Noah Bennet), Noah Gray Cabey (Micah Sanders), Masi Oka (Hiro Nakamura), Zachari Levi (Luke Collins), Jimmy Jean-Louis (The Haitian), Rya Kihlstedt (Erica), Henry Zebrowski (Quentin Frady), Robbie Kay (Tommy), Kiki Sukezane (Miko Otomo), Judith Shekoni (Joanne), Danika Yarosh (Malina), Ryan Guzman (Carlos), and Gatlin Green (Emily).
