With a jetpack fueled by insomnia and an easily amused mind, It Came From The Interwebs scours and sifts through everything that has ever appeared on the internet (more or less) to find a few things that you should know about every week. These things come from the interwebs, hence the clever name.
This week, we return from riding on the back of Falcor to bring you the time lord jedi ninja of web junk columns, featuring: a stabby eagle, fruit rape, board game movie mashups, and another Lazy Sunday.
This week, my editor decided to punish me because I had been assigned to review the first Human Centipede DVD, but I never did the review. In the interest of full disclosure, however, I had heard details about the film and have been trying to work up the courage to watch it for approximately a year now. My penance for not completing the review is to cover this, the new image and teaser trailer for The Human Centipede 2 (Full Sequence) (which you can watch here below), and if you know about Human Centipede, then the subtitle of the movie should chill your spine and make your stomach churn. Because it definitely did to me. And rightly so.
The duo of Beavis and Butt-Head may be best known for making fun of various music videos, but now, with the upcoming reboot of the iconic animated series, Beavis and Butt-Head, the pair are looking to riff on something a bit, shall we say, darker.
Creator Mike Judge revealed in an interview with Screen Junkies that while they may still be talking about shows on their mother station, MTV, they will also be watching movies, and one of them will be the much talked about horror flick The Human Centipede.
Judge talked about the inspiration for the upcoming episode.
Season 15 of South Park will debut on Wednesday, April 27, 2011, with an episode title “HUMANCENTiPAD.”
Can you guess what it’s about?
Yeah, just the thought of how the South Park creators are going to mash-up the Apple iPad device and the gross horror film The Human Centipede makes me want to hurl. Then I watched the preview of the episode. Ugh… but, it’s sure to be hilarious, even if it is disgusting.
Earlier today, we told you about the Pumpkin Geek, a master pumpkin carver who creates jack-o-lanterns with the likeness of popular movie and TV characters.
Now, the funny peeps over at College Humor have posted “Seven Easy Jack-O-Lantern Ideas,” two of which are movie-related and worth noting. Of course, each instructional illustration is highly humorous, but yet surprisingly informative as well. There’s one for making an Inception pumpkin — Pumpkinception — which, like the film, is quite elaborate. There’s another for The Human Centipede — The Centipede Pumpkin — which, like the film, makes me want to just vomit at the idea of this concept, and this is just a damn pumpkin!
Click the image at right for the Inception illustration, and be sure to head over to College Humor for the full effect, and to check out their other clever pumpkin ideas.
