Disney’s Alice Through the Looking Glass marks the return of Mia Wasikowska playing the title heroine who must return to Wonderland to help fix the Mad Hatter who is suffering from a depressing stupor. Anne Hathaway also reprises her role as the White Queen, whom we find out has a few skeletons in her closet.
We were recently invited to the film’s press junket where we learned about why the cast wanted to come back to Wonderland, their memories of reading Lewis Carroll, and why Hathaway thinks it is wrong to think of actors as role models. Check it all out below.
As first reported in December 2014 when the Sony e-mail hacks was the biggest news story, there was word that the studio wanted to do a crossover with two of their most lucrative franchises, Men in Black and the Jump Street. Those discussions became a reality when Phil Lord and Chris Millerexpressed their intrigue at the idea. The idea was to have Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill reprise their respective roles for a sequel that would take aim at shared universes. But with Lord and Miller now directing the untitled young Han Solo Star Wars spinoff starring Alden Ehrenreich, the crossover would have to find a new director.
While on the international press tour for Alice Through The Looking Glass, director James Bobin (The Muppets) confirmed that he will be the one to direct the crossover sequel, which will be titled MiB 23. More on the story below.

It has seemed like a running joke for a while now, but one that everyone has hoped would become a real thing. When the Sony Pictures hacking scandal was unfolding it was revealed that they might be thinking about doing a crossover event movie in which the worlds of their rebooted Jump Street franchise sequel 23 Jump Street and the Men in Black franchise would become one.
The possible crossover has been whispered about as a real possibility since then, and now comes a new report that not only is it still in Sony’s plans, but they also have a director in their sights as well.
