Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame has broken all sorts of box office records having grossed over $2.2 billion in the 13 days since it was released. So many that it has surpassed James Cameron‘s Titanic ($2.1 billion worldwide).
While Cameron has gone on record about how superhero movies are played out, the director displayed a very gracious gesture by congratulating Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige on accomplishing this rare achievement. Check out the tweet that Cameron sent out below.
It’s been a while since we’ve heard anything about the Avatar sequels. What was once something that was gestating has now completed production.
While we know that Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, and Stephan Lang are all set to return and reprise their respective roles, Edie Falco will be joining the film as a mysterious new character who has ties to a rather shady group with possibly nefarious intentions for Pandora. More on the report below.
It’s almost hard to believe that we are finally getting to see the James Cameron-produced Alita: Battle Angel. Initially set to be directed by Cameron before he fell in deep with his Avatar sequels, the long-awaited adaptation of the manga is now a Robert Rodriguez directorial effort. The film has been met with mixed reactions, with many praising the visual aesthetics while criticizing the lack of story. Now with the film ready for release, Fox is amping up the hype by releasing one final look at the film. Check it out here below.
One-time advanced screenings can prove to be a huge benefit for some films as it will help drive up interest and possibly box office gross when the film actually hits theaters. Fox is hoping that will work this week.
The studio is giving everyone the chance to see Alita: Battle Angel in limited theaters in the United States and Canada for free tomorrow, January 31st. Find out how to get these tickets below.
