20th Century Fox has released a new promo video for Alita: Battle Angel, the long-awaited adaptation of Yukito Kishiro‘s Japanese manga Battle Angel Alita.
In the video, dubbed “Two Visionaries, One Vision,” producer James Cameron (Aliens, Terminator, Avatar, Titanic)—who was attached to direct the adaptation for nearly 20 years before ultimately handing over the reins so he could concentrate on him multiple Avatar sequels—and director Robert Rodriguez (Sin City, From Dusk Till Dawn, Desperado, Grindhouse) talk about the movie. You can check it out below.
The release date for director Robert Rodriguez‘s Alita: Battle Angel has been pushed back for far too long. But now it looks like it has finally settled on a release date. Though the film was set for a December release, it’s new date does give us a chance to get a better idea of what the film is.
While most know it as an adaptation of the manga of the same name, Alita’s Pinocchio-esque story is expected to be action-packed and thrilling, as noted by the very exciting new trailer. The film follows a scientist (Christoph Waltz) who discovers and rebuilds a damaged cyborg named Alita (Rosa Salazar). However, what Alita doesn’t realize is that she is has untold secrets. The kind of secrets very powerful people like Vector (Mahershala Ali) is after. Check it out, below.
Yes, the Avatar sequels (yes, more than one) have been in development since we could remember. Of course, numerous delays have put these sequels on hold for a very long time. But it looks like director James Cameron is ready to go. Production for these films begun last year, and with everything being kept a secret, we don’t know much about these films. But maybe a few titles will help.
There’s a new rumor that says the four titles of the Avatar sequels have been revealed. So if you want to be kept in the dark, I suggest you refrain from clicking below. But if you are eager to know, then, by all means, continue reading. Just get ready for some really cheesy subtitles.
The first official image from the next Terminator movie has been released. In it, we see Natalia Reyes, Mackenzie Davis, and the returning star of the first two movies, Linda Hamilton.
Hamilton isn’t the only original returning for the new movie, though. Franchise star Arnold Schwarzenegger is also back, and The Terminator and Terminator 2: Judgment Day director James Cameron is producing the movie.

Terminator 2 remains one of the most important films of my life. Nine years old in 1991, the TV ads for it drove me into a frenzy and my dad’s bad judgment or not allowed me to watch the original before taking me to see T2 in theaters on opening weekend. It was the first movie I ever saw multiple times in theaters, and 27 years later it still holds up as one of the greatest films of all time. It is a masterpiece of action set pieces, drama, music and violence. Titanic and Avatar be damned, THIS is James Cameron‘s magnum opus. Now there is new 4K Ultra HD/Blu-ray bundle available, giving home viewers the chance to enjoy one of the most epic films in the most epic way.
