Marvel has released a preview clip from their upcoming new series, Agent Carter, which follows Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell). The series was announced after Carter’s appearances in Captain America: The First Avenger and the one-shot found on the Iron Man 3 Blu-ray.
The preview clip features Atwell as Carter, Dominic Cooper as Tony’s father Howard Stark, and James D’Arcy as the original Jarvis (played by Paul Bettany in the Iron Man and Avengers movies).
This year’s New York Comic-Con brought a highly anticipated panel for Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. In addition to a surprise appearance from a cast member, there was also a special screening. Head of Marvel Television Jeph Loeb began the panel by reminding the audience of how far Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has come.
“As many of you remember, we were in a much smaller hall when we first announced that we would have our first live-action television series,” he said.
Then, much to the audience’s shock, Loeb went on to say, “Anybody can be Hydra,” as he opened his jacket to reveal a HYDRA logo on a t-shirt underneath.
