Michael Chaves To Direct ‘The Conjuring 3’; James Wan Will Produce
The Conjuring has come a long way since its debut back in 2013. Not only have there been sequels, but there have also been spin-offs. In fact, there is an entire universe based on The Conjuring.
And that is all thanks in part to James Wan. Wan, who directed the first two Conjuring films, seemed like he would be closing out the trilogy. However, that’s not the case anymore. Wan will be stepping away from The Conjuring 3, and letting Michael Chaves take over directorial duties. But Wan won’t be too far away as he will still be a producer on the film. SDCC 2018: ‘Aquaman’ Trailer: The King Of Atlantis Makes A Splashy Return
Aquaman may not have had the best introduction in Justice League, but the easily mocked character will get a chance to prove himself in his own film Aquaman. James Wan is at the helm for the latest superhero epic, which will see Jason Momoa reprising his role as Arthur Curry, a man who is both a human and an Atlantean, who must return to his undersea home to stop his half-brother, King Orm (Patrick Wilson) from going to war with the surface dwellers.
The cast and Wan were over at San Diego Comic-Con to talk a little bit about Aquaman, but more importantly, give us the first trailer for the film. Prepare for plenty of jumping the shark moments. Check out the trailer below.

SDCC 2018: James Wan Says ‘Annabelle 3’ Will Be Like ‘Night At The Museum’
Annabelle, that creepy doll that first appeared in The Conjuring, refuses to be put on the shelf. After that first film and two successful spinoffs, New Line Cinema and WB announced that they will be releasing Annabelle 3, with IT and The Nun writer Gary Dauberman lined up to direct the film.
Now we are learning more about what the expect from the terrifying sequel. During a special ScareDiego panel at the San Diego Comic-Con, Dauberman and Annabelle producer James Wan spoke about the upcoming film, with Wan saying that it will be like Night at the Museum but with Annabelle. Geek Peek: ‘Aquaman’ Image Reels In First Look At Djimon Hounsou As The Fisherman King
Could Djimon Hounsou be the person to save DC films? It sure does seem like it. The actor, who has already signed on to play an ancient wizard in Shazam! who gives Billy Batson his powers, will also appear in Aquaman. Although, not as the Wizard, but as the Fisherman King.
