The Conjuring 2

The Conjuring has come a long way since its debut back in 2013. Not only have there been sequels, but there have also been spin-offs. In fact, there is an entire universe based on The Conjuring.

And that is all thanks in part to James Wan. Wan, who directed the first two Conjuring films, seemed like he would be closing out the trilogy. However, that’s not the case anymore. Wan will be stepping away from The Conjuring 3, and letting Michael Chaves take over directorial duties. But Wan won’t be too far away as he will still be a producer on the film. Train To Busan

Remakes of foreign films are inevitable. It just depends on the creative team behind it to assure fans of the original that all is well, and maybe draw in a new fan base as well.

But when you put The Conjuring‘s James Wan and The Nun‘s Gary Dauberman on a remake for the claustrophobic zombie train thriller Train to Busan, then you might get a lot of people’s attention. More on the story below.

Aquaman Starring Jason Momoa

Aquaman may not have had the best introduction in Justice League, but the easily mocked character will get a chance to prove himself in his own film Aquaman. James Wan is at the helm for the latest superhero epic, which will see Jason Momoa reprising his role as Arthur Curry, a man who is both a human and an Atlantean, who must return to his undersea home to stop his half-brother, King Orm (Patrick Wilson) from going to war with the surface dwellers.

The cast and Wan were over at San Diego Comic-Con to talk a little bit about Aquaman, but more importantly, give us the first trailer for the film. Prepare for plenty of jumping the shark moments. Check out the trailer below.

Aquaman title card image header

Could Djimon Hounsou be the person to save DC films? It sure does seem like it. The actor, who has already signed on to play an ancient wizard in Shazam! who gives Billy Batson his powers, will also appear in Aquaman. Although, not as the Wizard, but as the Fisherman King.

And now, we are getting our first look at the character in a recently released image. You can check it out below, along with a brand new poster which includes a date for when we’ll get to see a trailer.
