Ben Affleck has stayed out of the limelight ever since he retired from playing Batman. And it looks like he is getting back to something a bit more grounded and dramatic. Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for the sports drama The Way Back, which will reunite the actor with The Accountant director Gavin O’Connor.
In the film, Affleck plays a depressed alcoholic whose life has spiraled downward after a great tragedy. But he finds a second chance at life when someone offers him a job coaching basketball at his old high school. Of course, this job proves to be a bit difficult considering his personal problems, but it will also give him a chance to redeem himself and find a way to fight his demons in a more constructive way. Check out the trailer below.
It’s still hard to imagine that we live in a world where people can judge us simply by the color of our skin. Fortunately, we have films that try to bridge that gap, and hopefully, the world can accept people for who they are on the inside. Until then, the need for films like Blindspotting is necessary.
Lionsgate has dropped the first trailer for the film, which stars Daveed Diggs (Hamilton) as a parolee who is simply trying to make it through his last three days without getting into trouble. Only thing is, his best friend Miles (Rafael Casal) keeps finding ways that could put him back in jail. On top of that, Diggs’ character witnesses a police officer shooting an unarmed African American, and the tension between the community and the police is beginning to have an adverse effect on those closest to him. Check out the latest trailer below.
A new trailer has been released for Star Wars: Battlefront II. The new trailer focuses on something the first game did not have, a single-player campaign, which follows Commander Iden Versio (played by Janina Gavankar).
With the unsettling news that EA has decided to closeDead Space developer Visceral Games, and “pivot the design” of the much-anticipated single-player Star Wars game they were working on, the hopes of many of us who aren’t content will multiplayer alone lie only with this Battlefront II campaign. If it’s not surprisingly good, we’ll all be very, very sad.
On that slightly depressing note, continue below to read more about the game and watch the trailer.
