Back in January of 2018 we found out that Ryan Reynolds was developing a new movie based on the Hasbro board game Clue at 20th Century Fox, with his Deadpool writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick in talks to pen the screenplay.
Now that movie may have found its director. Jason Bateman, who has starred in Arrested Development, Juno, Horrible Bosses, the Netflix series Ozark, and much more, has entered into early negotiations to direct Clue for Fox (and now Disney).
More Arrested Development is on the way from creator Mitchell Hurwitz, and Netflix has released an official trailer for the new episodes.
Said new episodes are the second half of season five. The first half of the season was released about a year ago. Netflix describes the new episodes with few words, saying simply “One Murder. No Masterminds.”
