Quentin Tarantino’s New Film Inspired By Manson Family Murders

Whether or not Quentin Tarantino is telling us the truth about his retirement he’s been pondering after his tenth film remains to be seen, but if it is true, we’re going to have to enjoy every last minute of it because he has just announced what his ninth film will be about.

For his “penultimate” film, Tarantino has decided that it will focus on the Manson family murders. Quite a subject, and one that will probably have another unique take. Check out more about the film, below.

Jessica Chastain To Play Lead Villain In ‘X-Men: Dark Phoenix’

The X-Men saga films are never short on star power. From Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart to Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, and Jennifer Lawrence, these films have found a way to rope in some very high-profile names into their superhero universe. And now you can add Jessica Chastain to that list. Reports are saying that the Academy Award-nominated actress is currently in negotiations to play the lead villain in X-Men: Dark Phoenix.

Paramount Shuts Down New ‘Friday The 13th,’ Pulls ‘World War Z 2’ From Schedule

A major studio changing a scheduled release is common practice within the industry. But when it comes to pulling a major tentpole sequel off the schedule, that is something to worry about.

A new report confirms Paramount has pulled World War Z 2 and Friday the 13th of their scheduled release, with the latter later reported to be shut down completely. Both films were a part of Michael Bay‘s Platinum Dunes production company. However, they have announced a release date for Darren Aronofsky‘s mother!, starring Jennifer Lawrence. Official Trailer For ‘Passengers’ Starring Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Pratt Released

Sony Pictures Entertainment has released an official trailer for Passengers, an upcoming sci-fi epic starring Academy Award winner Jennifer Lawrence (Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle) and Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy, Jurassic World).

The movie is set on a giant space ship which is transporting humans to a new home many year away. To make it there alive, everyone is suspended in sleep. But two of the ship’s occupants wake up early. Far too early. Also starring is Michael Sheen (Masters of Sex, Frost/Nixon) along with Oscar nominees Laurence Fishburne (The Matrix, What’s Love Got to Do with It) and Andy Garcia (The Godfather Part III, Ocean’s Eleven).
