‘Independence Day: Resurgence’ Trailer: Aliens Don’t Care About Earth Day
  |  @   |

Of all the days to drop a trailer, 20th Century Fox decided today, Earth Day, a day to celebrate Mother Earth, to drop the newest trailer for Independence Day: Resurgence. It was 20 years ago since the first film was released, where aliens nearly annihilated the world with their destructive force. Since their defeat, humans have been able to adapt their technology to modify their own military forces. However, the aliens they defeated were only the welcoming committee, as they have returned with an even more powerful weapon than the one they had unleashed on us two decades ago.

Roland Emmerich returns to his directing post. Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman, Vivica A. Fox, and Brent Spiner are also back to reprise their respective roles. They will all be joined by newcomers Liam Hemsworth, Maika Monroe, and Jessie Usher. Check out the newest trailer here below.

The much anticipated trailer for the trailer for Independence Day sequel Independence Day: Resurgence has finally arrived. Twenty years after the first film became a hit, director Roland Emmerich is back for some more, and he is bringing with him a few familiar faces to the franchise. Jeff Goldblum, Bill Pullman, Brent Spiner, Judd Hirsch, and Vivica A. Fox all return to reprise their respective roles. Will Smith is noticeably absent from the sequel – and the reason why is explained in the trailer – but his character’s son will be played by Jessie Usher.

So how much as changed since the events? Well, it appears that the world has adapted the technology used by the aliens to enhance military capabilities. But that is nothing compared to what’s coming when the aliens suddenly return in full forced with a far more advanced technology than the ones they saw back in 1996.
