Back in 2015, John Carpenter once again re-invented himself and created Tales For a HalloweeNight from Storm King Productions. Created alongside wife and collaborator Sandy King, Storm King has produced comics and anthologies including Asylum and John Carpenter’s Tales of Science Fiction. Volume 3 of the annual HalloweeNight horror anthology debuts today, the week of New York Comic-Con, and features stories by The Horror Master himself, Sandy King, and constant collaborators James Ninness, Duane Swierczynski, David J. Schow, Richard P. Clark, and more.

Collecting the first six issues of the series, this comic is everything you would expect from Alice Cooper. From the over-the-top ideas to the humorous and the horrific, you won’t be disappointed. It looks like the stage presentation was adapted for sequential art, and then embellished a tad.
Ever wonder what would have happened if things were slightly different in the old tale of Dracula? Well, this series explores the concept of it all being a repetitive loop, one where things play out slightly different each time, with the characters sometimes being unaware of what is coming to pass. Add to this timeless tale a new entity, in the form of Vampirella, and you get some very different results. Vampirella Vs. Dracula #2 involves the meeting of the two vampires as well as some distinct changes to the plot.
