It’s hard to describe a movie like Movie 43, because there is no actual place to start. The comedy is a collection of shorts and skits directed by – take a deep breath now – Patrick Forsberg, Peter Farrelly, Elizabeth Banks, Steven Brill, Steve Carr, Tusty Cundieff, James Duffy, Griffin Dunne, James Gunn, Bob Odenkirk, and Brett Ratner. If you thought the directors list was big, just wait until you see the cast list.
This hilarious red band trailer features comedic acts that can only be described as vulgar, disgusting, provocative, offensive, and other repulsive adjectives you can think of. But it’s all for the sake of comedy, and this red band trailer reveals that Movie 43 has the potential to be a daring comedy. Check out the trailer and the actors involved below.
The film stars so many people, that it’s impossible to fit them in this opening text. Take a deeper breath than the one you took before, as this is the cast of Movie 43…
Ever since his career as governor of California came to a close Arnold Schwarzenegger has been working overtime getting his chiseled mug back into the world of action cinema. Last weekend he returned to theaters with an expanded role in The Expendables 2, but the Austrian Oak won’t be seen in a starring since making his comeback until next January when The Last Stand hits theaters.
Here’s a first look at the movie via a newly released trailer. You can check it out here below.
Schwarzenegger plays former Ray Owens, a former Los Angeles cop who has taken on the job of sheriff in a sleepy border town. When one of the biggest drug lords in the world (Eduardo Noriega) makes a spectacular escape from an FBI prisoner convoy and heads for Owens’ town at top speed with a hostage and a gang of ruthless thugs in town the sheriff must gather his meager forces and stop the drug lord from getting across the border and evading justice forever.
Blue Sky Studios may not have as many titles in their library as Pixar or DreamWorks Animation, but they do have some pretty respectable ones.
Take Ice Age, for instance. Though the film lacks great stories, it has become one of the most profitable film franchises for the studio. Then there’s Rio, also a very profitable film, and one that has earned a few awards along the way.
Now comes EPIC, a film that takes Ferngully, and turns into an epic adventure of all shapes and sizes. You can see the first trailer for the movie below.

More than once I questioned why the hell I was viewing Jackass 3. Of course I’m familiar with the television series, though I’ve never really identified myself as being a part of the cult fan-base of the Jackass collective. Having said that though, Jackass 3 is a humorous detour from the usual suspects to be found on Netflix Streaming, with some excellent cinematography in places – though be warned: there are many numerous scenes with intent to disgust.
Never let it be said that Arnold Schwarzenegger is a slacker; ever since leaving the office as Governor of California, the mighty Austrian Oak has set about relaunching his career as an big-screen action hero with a beefed-up supporting role in The Expendables 2 and taking on the lead in the forthcoming modern day western The Last Stand, the English-language debut of acclaimed Korean director Jee-woon Kim (I Saw the Devil).
Today, Schwarzenegger has tweeted the first picture of himself in full costume on the set of The Last Stand, along with co-stars Jaimie Alexander (Thor), Luiz Guzman (The Limey), and professional JackassJohnny Knoxville.
