Merlyn (John Barrowman) joined Oliver to save Thea (Willa Holland). Loyal Nyssa (Katrina Law) joined despite hating Merlyn. Oliver freed Chase after he showed him that he kidnapped his son, William (Jack Moore). Last week on Arrow, Lance (Paul Blackthorne) really came through for Rene (Rick Gonzalez), by arranging a visit with his daughter, and inspiring him to fight for her. Alena (Kacey Rohl) told Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) that A.R.G.U.S. is holding their leader, Cayden James, without due process. He invented a biomarker tracker that they could use to get Chase (Josh Segarra), but wanted Felicity’s help at breaking him out.
